A strong belief in the power of design to elevate levels of pleasure, productivity, and patronage no matter the project type. The aim of any project is for the finished product to stand apart from its surroundings while meeting the criteria of the program. The ability of a project to make a visitor rethink a preconception is what makes architecture an art and worth pursuing.

Stylistically, bpA follows a quiet modernism based on the juxtaposition of simple forms and the artful use of materials and lighting with a respect for nature throughout the process. The integration of foreign methods and materials are frequently proposed as a new and environmentally sensitive design that is more commonly practiced in countries where the effects and cost of energy forced an earlier awareness than in the US.
